I had Shio ramen. Bonito and fish flavor. Good. $8.50.
(I don't know why the photo came out reddish but the soup is actually very clear, white).


My wife had Tonkotsu ramen. Very oily soup (she said it is Kurume-style). Thick noodle. $8.75.

Today I had Surantan-men (酸辣湯麺). It is a ramen noodle but uses hot and sour soup (similar to what you get at Chinese restaurant).

All ramen noodles come with this small salad w/Japanese dressing.

This is Surantan men. $7.50.

Originally from Asahikawa, Hokkaido JAPAN. Now they have about 40 restaurants in Japan. Also restaurants in the US, Singapore and Hong Kong.

My wife had Kara-miso ramen (spicy miso ramen). $7.49.

Shio ramen. Selected as the best Shio ramen in Asahikawa (Shio ramen originates in Asahikawa in Hokkaido). 750 yen. Tonkotsu base soup and salty. The best Shio ramen I ever had.

Near Shinagawa Station, there is a section called Shinatatsu, where 7 ramen noodle restaurant gather. Higomons is one of the 7 there and they server Kumamoto style ramen (Tonkotsu).

 I went from Osaka to Tokyo on Wednesday. Flight arrived Haneda airport around lunch time so I decided to have soba noodle at the airport.

They serve Kahuku style shrimp dishes.
(Kahuku is a town in northern part of O'ahu island of Hawai'i, which is famous for shrimp farms and shrimp food trucks.)

The truck came to West LA today for lunch. My wife went to get these 2 dishes and we had them for dinner.
 Garlic butter shrimp. Very good.
