Shio ramen, miso ramen (@Kitahama Shoten, Mitsuwa Torrance)

This weekend (5/27-29) at Mitsuwa Market Place in Torrance, special food event was held. Ramen from Kitahama shoten was available during the weekend.

Shio ramen. $9.80. Very good soup. Clean and salty. Thick noodle.

Miso ramen. $9.80. Also good but my wife and I liked Shio ramen better.

Shoyu ramen (@Sushi 101, Studio City)

Very basic, old-fashion shoyu ramen.

I usually have tantan-men here but sometimes I want to try something new. This orange chicken lunch set was a recent addition to their menu. I was imagining it more like the one at Panda Express but this orange chicken is a lot sweeter with taste of vinegar (kind like a subuta (sour pork)).

This place is just outside of JR Osaka station. It was around 10PM and I was looking for a place to have dinner. Not many place is open (except bars).

Wonton men. Thick tonkotsu soup. Maybe a bit too thick to have at 10PM for dinner. Not bad, though.
