Shio ramen. Very light soup with bonito flavor. Not too salty. Good.

I posted this tantanmen before but It is still my favorite noodle in LA so I want to post again. I have this Tantanmen every weekend.

This weekend (5/27-29) at Mitsuwa Market Place in Torrance, special food event was held. Ramen from Kitahama shoten was available during the weekend.

Shio ramen. $9.80. Very good soup. Clean and salty. Thick noodle.

Miso ramen. $9.80. Also good but my wife and I liked Shio ramen better.

I usually have tantan-men here but sometimes I want to try something new. This orange chicken lunch set was a recent addition to their menu. I was imagining it more like the one at Panda Express but this orange chicken is a lot sweeter with taste of vinegar (kind like a subuta (sour pork)).

A small ramen place. We arrived before they open for lunch on Saturday. Soon after they opened, there are many people lined up outside.

I had Kotteri Tonkotsu ramen. Not bad.

I always have Umani yakisoba, which is fried noodle with pork/vegetables in thick seafood-flavored sauce. They also have Umani ramen and Umani rice. I tried all of them and they are all good but Yakisoba is the best.
